Alyn Tarbeck was the Lord of Tarbeck Hall and head of House Tarbeck during the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen. He was married to Lady Jeyne Westerling. He fought for Prince Aegon Targaryen during the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye.
After declaring his uncle Maegor I Targaryen a usurper and a tyrant, Prince Aegon the Uncrowned gathered his supporters at Pinkmaiden Castle in the riverlands. Lord Alyn Tarbeck was one of the several lords from the westerlands to join Aegon's cause. However, Lord Alyn died with the rebels at the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye in 43 AC, slain by Maegor's loyalists alongside the prince.
His wife, Lady Jeyne of House Westerling, gave him a posthumous son a few months later. In 47 AC, Maegor summoned Lady Jeyne and her son to court, where he married the widow as one of his Black Brides, using her son as a hostage to prevent any defiance. Lord Alyn's son was later confirmed as his heir and Lord of Tarbeck Hall, and sent to Casterly Rock as a ward of Lord Lyman Lannister.
