- Aegon IV was borne around 138 AL
- Daemon was 14 when he was presented with Blackfyre by his father, who was king at that time (172 AL - 184 AL)
- Daemon had twin sons who fought and died during the Battle of Redgrass (196 AL)
- Daemon's mother, Daena the Defiant was locked up by her brother, king Baelor I when she got pregnant. Baelor reigned from 161 AL - 171 AL.
The author confirmed Daemon's birth date in a mail to the Dabel Brothers. See [here. He is said to be 26 when he died, placing his birth at 170 AL.
His two twin sons that died with him would be twelve.
