Denys Woodwright was a knight from House Woodwright and a sworn sword to Corlys Velaryon, Lord of the Tides and Hand of the Queen to Rhaenyra Targaryen, during the Dance of the Dragons.[1]

History

After Lord Corlys was imprisoned under charges of treason for warning Ser Addam Velaryon of his impending arrest, Ser Denys and Ser Thoron True, another sworn sword to the Sea Snake, cut their way into the dungeons of the Red Keep to liberate their lord. However, their plans had been betrayed to Lady Misery by a whore Ser Thoron had been bedding. Ser Denys and Ser Thoros were taken and hanged from the walls of the Red Keep, dying at dawn.[1]
