Summary
Additional info: The Iron Fleet may not be the largest navy in Westeros, but certainly the one with the most vicious and best armoured sailors. The Ironborn believe in the drowned god's halls and consequently have no fear of drowning, which is the reason why they don heavy armour at sea whilst other sailors wear only boiled leather for fear of being weighed down beneath the waves.[1]
