Hoster Blackwood, called Hos by family and friends, is the third son of Lord Tytos Blackwood of Raventree Hall.[2]

Character and Appearance

Hoster is a bookish boy, tall and gangly, gawky with a cowlick. He is almost seven feet of legs, shins and elbows.[2]

A Dance with Dragons

After Ser Jaime Lannister negotiates the end of the siege of Raventree with Lord Tytos, Hoster is sent with Jaime as a hostage to ensure his father's good behavior and continued allegiance to the Iron Throne. Hoster tells Jaime about Blackwood Vale and the feud between the Blackwoods and the Brackens.[2]
