Lord Vance is the Lord of Wayfarer's Rest and the head of House Vance.

Lord Vance of Wayfarer's Rest and Lord Clement Piper of Pinkmaiden Castle are tasked by Ser Edmure Tully to guard the pass below the Golden Tooth and prevent the westermen to enter in the riverlands.[2] Ser Jaime Lannister leads an attack against the outnumbered riverlords and defeats them. Lord Vance is slain in the battle while Lord Clement retreats back to Riverrun with the remnants of his forces.[1]
Lord Vance is succeeded by his son, Ser Karyl Vance.[1]
