Lord of Castamere is a hereditary title held by the ruler of the castle of Castamere, in the northwest of the westerlands.

The Reynes of Castamere submitted to House Lannister during the Age of Heroes when Loreon I Lannister, the first King of the Rock, married a Reyne daughter.[1] The title of Lord of Castamere became vacant when Ser Tywin Lannister destroyed the Reynes and their castle during the Reyne-Tarbeck rebellion.[2]
