Lord of the Crag[1][2][3][4][5][6] is a title held by the head of House Westerling, the rulers of the Crag in the westerlands.[7]

History
Lord Westerling supported Prince Aegon the Uncrowned's claim to the Iron Throne and fought for him the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye in 43 AC.[8] His fate is unknown.
Lord Westerling died from the Shivers in 59 AC.[9]
After the death of Lord Jason Lannister in the Battle at the Red Fork, Lord Roland Westerling and his daughter, Jason's widow Johanna, ruled over the westerlands in the name of young Lord Loreon Lannister.[5] Roland was part of the regency of Aegon III,[6] but he died of Winter Fever.[6]
Lord Gawen Westerling offered his daughter Jeyne as a possible match for Willem or Martyn Lannister, but he was turned down by their father, Ser Kevan Lannister.[10]

Lord Gawen Westerling is captured by Lord Jason Mallister in the battle in the Whispering Wood.[11][12]

Gawen is held at Seagard during his imprisonment.[1]
A Storm of Swords
Gawen is freed from Seagard after his daughter, Jeyne Westerling, marries Robb Stark, King in the North, after the storming of the Crag.[12]
Lord Westerling is pardoned by the Iron Throne after the Red Wedding.[13]
A Feast for Crows
During the siege of Riverrun, Gawen expresses to Ser Daven Lannister his concern for his family within the castle.[14] When the siege ends, Gawen is reunited with his family. They are part of the westermen who march back home.[15]
