Master of Torrhen's Square[1][2] or Lady of Torrhen's Square[3] is the title held by the ruler of Torrhen's Square in the north.[4][N 1]

Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Ser Helman Tallhart, the Master of Torrhen's Square, goes with his men to Winterfell when Robb Stark calls the northern banners in response to Lord Eddard Stark's arrest.[5] Helman leaves his brother Leobald as castellan.[6]
Robb names Helman as the commander of the garrison of four hundred archers and swordsmen left at the Twins to ensure the loyalty of House Frey.[7]
A Clash of Kings
Ser Edmure Tully orders Helman to leave the Twins and join with Lord Roose Bolton to aid in the fall of Harrenhal.[8] Helman retakes Castle Darry after a small siege with the Lannister garrison surrendering after a short period. Roose orders him to torch the castle, kill the captives, and join forces with Robett Glover to attack Duskendale.[9]
Ser Rodrik Cassel aids Leobald in fending off the ironborn of Dagmer Cleftjaw in at fight at Torrhen's Square,[10] but Rodrik and Leobald are later killed in the battle at Winterfell.[11]
A Storm of Swords
Helman is killed during the battle at Duskendale.[12] Having been predeceased by his son, Benfred, Helman's heir is his daughter, Eddara.[4]
A Feast for Crows
Eddara is held captive by the ironmen at Torrhen's Square, following its capture by Dagmer.[1]
