Appearance
Quent is a younger guardsman whose beard is soft brown fuzz.[2]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Quent is part of the party that accompanies Robb and Bran Stark into the wolfswood for Bran's first ride since his fall. He and Wayn fall behind and then follow Theon Greyjoy after he spies a turkey. They fail to guard Bran, who is left to his own devices and falls into the hands of a small party of wildlings and deserters from the Night's Watch.[2]
A Clash of Kings
When Catelyn's party returns to Riverrun from Storm's End, she orders Hallis Mollen and a small honor guard to escort the silent sisters who are to bring the bones of Lord Eddard Stark back to Winterfell.[3] Unbeknownst to Catelyn, however, ironmen led by Victarion Greyjoy have already moved to take Moat Cailin, and Theon is on his way to take Winterfell as well.[4][5]
A Storm of Swords
Hal continues north toward Winterfell with Quent, Jacks, and Shadd.[6]
A Feast for Crows
Hallis and his party continue their journey.[7]
A Dance with Dragons
At Winterfell, Barbrey Dustin, Lady of Barrowton, tells Theon that should Ned Stark's bones emerge from the Neck, the escorts will be prevented from going north of Barrowton.[8]
