House Roote of Lord Harroway's Town is a noble house from Harroway in the riverlands. According to semi-canon sources, they blazon their arms with a two-headed horse, brown, on a field of wavy green and green.[1] They may have have taken their sigil from Old King Andahar, as the ferry boat at Harroway is referred to as the king's two-headed water horse.[2]

Ser Richard Roote was one of the first knights of the Kingsguard when the order was founded in 10 AC.[3]

The Rootes possibly acquired Lord Harroway's Town after the extinction of House Harroway of Harrenhal.
