Sauron Salt-Tongue was a priest of the Drowned God. He declared the ironborn to have originated in the Drowned God's watery halls, made in the god's image, emerging from beneath the seas with dominion over all the waters of the earth.[1]

Sauron Salt-Tongue's name is probably a reference to the homonymous character from the novel The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.
