The Spotted Cat is a pit fighter famed in Meereen.[2] His origin is unknown, but he supports the pit fighting culture of the city.[2]

The Spotted Cat wears a leopard pelt across one of his shoulders.[2][3]

Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
The Spotted Cat, along with his fellow pit fighters Barsena Blackhair, Camarron of the Count, Goghor the Giant, Khrazz, Fearless Ithoke, and Belaquo Bonebreaker, accompanies Hizdahr zo Loraq when he petitions Daenerys Targaryen for the seventh time for the fighting pits of Meereen to be reopened. The Spotted Cat explains that his accommodations and meals have declined after being granted freedom from slavery by Daenerys.[2]
The Spotted Cat fights a man as tall as Goghor and as broad as Belwas when the fighting pits are reopened. After hamstringing his slower opponent, the Cat cuts the man's throat.[4]
After Daenerys disappears from Daznak's Pit, the Spotted Cat and other pit fighters serve as Hizdahr's guards.[5][3]
The Spotted Cat is chosen to sit on the ruling council of Meereen along with Goghor, Camarron, and Belaquo by Ser Barristan Selmy, despite the objections of Skahaz mo Kandaq. The Cat suggests that he kill Ser Gerris Drinkwater and Ser Archibald Yronwood in the fighting pits, as the two Dornishmen had aided Prince Quentyn Martell in releasing Viserion and Rhaegal on the city. The Spotted Cat also suggests that he face a Yunkish champion in single combat to resolve the second siege of Meereen.[1]

Shortly before the resumption of the second siege of Meereen, Ithoke and the Spotted Cat stand together among the several hundred pit fighters who have gathered for the battle near the Spire of Skulls. Barristan orders Goghor, Camarron, and the Cat to lead the pit fighters in the upcoming battle.[6]
