Re "Ser" in the infobox, see Lord Vargo Hoat, Lord Ramsay Snow, et al. It seems pretty consistent throughout the wiki that the infobox, as its list contains many titles and aliases gathered through the course of the series, shouldn't not include titles granted in the name section. --Mindset (talk) 13:07, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

Isn't there a rule that the name section shouldn't contain spoilers, and that's why Ramsay Bolton is "Ramsay Snow" on the infobox and Tommen I Baratheon is just "Tommen Baratheon?" I don't agree with it myself (one should expect spoilers on a wiki, and besides who hasn't read ASOIAF or watched GOT by now?), but it's worth pointing out. Maybe it should be talked about on the forum so we can change it. Potsk (talk) 13:28, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
I deleted the "Ser" for Bronn's infobox because like Potsk I was under the impression we have to limit spoilers when adressing characters from the main series. For the historical characters, this limitation is not in effect and the higher title (e.g. King Jaehaerys I Targaryen instead of Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen) or later title (e.g. Archmaester Vaegon instead of Prince Vaegon Targaryen) should be use. That being said, I would not be oppose to throw away this limitation for the characters of the main series too. In a way we already do that for the monarchs (e.g. King Robb Stark). The most important is that the editors are all in accord with the style we use in the future for the infobox and that we all respect the same schema in order to keep the wiki consistent. I think such discussion would be better suited in the forums and Ran's opinion must be consulted before taking a decision either way. --Thomaerys Velaryon (talk) 13:51, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
