Why is Valarr Targaryen listed as a possible Hand to Aerys I, when he died before his uncle's reign began? Francisco Araujo da Costa 03:02, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

That's obviously wrong, but so are the years listed under Aerys' reign, his reign started in 209AC, not in 208AL. Valarr might have been Hand in the few months between Baelors death in 209AC, and the death of Daeron II in 209AC, several months later. When Aerys ascended to the throne, Bloodraven became Hand. Who was Hand in between Baelor and Bloodraven is unknown. --Rhaenys_Targaryen 09:22, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
It's fixed now. --Rhaenys_Targaryen 09:44, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Actually what looks wrong is having the unknown Hand under Aerys's reign instead of Daeron's: Daeron picked up a new Hand after Baelor's dead that was not Bloodraven and could be Valarr, Daeron and this Hand died during the Great Spring Sickness, Aerys became king and choosed Bloodraven as his Hand.

you are right about the unknown Hand. He was placed wrongly, which I think was a mix up of mine when previously correcting the page with years and all. It's fixed now. Thank you for pointing it out.
the Hand potentially could have been Valarr, but the quote about Daerons last Hand is vague. I don't read it as having been Valarr, personally, but there are some who do. To prevent theories from covering pages in combination with facts, Daerons last Hand should remain as "unknown" until we are provided with a name. I think that would be best.
