Did we ever confirm that Rennifer Longwaters was specifically descended from Elaena Targaryen? Or that he was just a Targaryen bastard in general? Given Aegon IV's productivity there's probably quite a few "Targaryen bastards" running around.--The Dragon Demands 03:36, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
- Rennifer descends from Jon Waters, who is specified as having been Elaena's bastard son by Alyn Velaryon. Aegon IV might have been quite the busy guy, but any unrecognized bastards raised in the Crownlands would not have carried the name "Waters", as Rennifer's ancestor obviously did. And we currently know exactly which bastards Aegon did recognize. Rennifer descends from Jon, and Jon is the son of Elaena.--Rhaenys_Targaryen 23:05, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
