"The Roadside Rose" is a sweet song being composed by Marillion. It is about a baseborn girl who captures the attentions of all the men she encounters with her beauty.[1]
The song may be about Sansa Stark as at the time of her encounter with Marillion, she pretends to be Petyr Baelish's bastard daughter, Alayne Stone. Moreover, while Marillion flirts with Alayne, he describes her as "sweet".[2]
