Tom Barleycorn is a ranger of the Night's Watch at Castle Black. He shares a surname with Russ Barleycorn, a fellow member of the Night's Watch.[1]

Tom accompanies Lord Commander Jon Snow when he travels to the weirwood grove north of Castle Black, where he is assigned as the lead scout.[2]
