Eddard Stark's possible survival

Hi, what is the basis for your statement about Eddard's possible survival? Theories and opinion are in general out of scope for the wiki. The exception is when a lot of people speculate about something (for instance the R + L = S theory). In that case the fact that a lot of people speculate about this make is it relevant for the wiki. It that case the arguments for the theory should go to the Theory page. On the main page only the statement that the theory is debated (with the source of the debate!). See for instance Jon_Snow#Parentage / Jon_Snow/Theories. Regards, Scafloc 18:15, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Uploading new images

Very nice work with the new version of COA for House Redwyne, I hope you can work on other COA as well. However, you should know that we have a little problem with the cache server, so it takes some time until a new version of an image updates here. I have seen your upload yesterday and manually purged the page, so it should have been updated soon, so next time there is no reason go crazy on the file page, previous works.(btw, I know how you felt, I have done something similar in the past, trying to make the damn thing to show!).

Btw, there is a weired error showing on your user page, i have never seen before: 'User account "Richard ba" is not registered. Please check if you want to create/edit this page.', you may want to contact Ran about it. --Mor 20:09, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Deleting images

Please don't delete images. If you delete an image the history is also deleted. That makes the change untraceable. If you prefer a new version of an image it is better to upload the new version of the image. That way it is possible to compare the old and the new versions. Thanks, Scafloc 17:26, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Again please don't delete pages! Reasons are still the same and as you did not discuss them I assume you agree with them. To be honest I liked your previous version of the Mormont coa better. The lines around the words in the new version do not come out right. If you want to discuss the no delete policy you can do so here. Scafloc 05:35, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for working on and uploading your COA. Regarding the replaced images, please take note of our Help:Manual_of_Style#Images and do not delete images in future. --Mor 07:23, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

New coa's

Sergio Tavel just uploaded the new Mallister coa and I have the impression that the coa on house Seaworth was by mistake not reverted. So I don't think he undid your reverts. These seem to be new instances. Nevertheless the same rules apply: if a change is challenged it needs to be discussed. No pushing a change on your own. I think that message is clear, let's assume Good Faith and that other measures are not needed. Cheers,Scafloc 20:48, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Sergio Tavel uploaded a new version of the Bolton coa. It is a bit unfortunate that he did not discuss it. On the other hand there is something to say for persistence and being bold. My own preference for the coa would be a more simple version but this wiki and its content should be a reflection of what the majority feels. So what do you think? If you think it is ok then that is it (for me the point that people contribute is more important than this particular coa). Else I'll set up a discussion on the forum. Scafloc 22:08, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
If you both will allow me to pitch in, I do think that some measure of discussion about the change of Bolton COA is indeed adequate, and I would welcome a forum discussion on the matter. Of course it is in the nature of a wiki to encourage some boldness and change, but it is my honest opinion that the upside down man COA, artistically sound as it is, does not really give a very clear impression of the House Bolton sigil. It will probably be for the best to create a forum discussion and invite at least the three of us and Sergio Tavel to participate. LuisDantas 22:38, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
I have added a post in the Questions about Heraldry discussion. I thought it a good idea to discuss first general guidelines before we go into the specifics (Sergio Tavel's new coa's). Please join in. Scafloc 15:52, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
RB, I think it is a good idea if you join in the discussion about the coa's. Cheers,Scafloc 18:43, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Selyse image

Hi, it seems that the image you uploaded of Selyse Florent is a modified version of a photograph of Frida Kahlo. I could not find any license info about the original image. Are you sure it can be used? Also if the original image can be used the image you made should mention the original (and why it can be used). Could you clarify this?
