Aemon Blackfyre was the second son of Daemon Blackfyre. He was Aegon Blackfyre's twin brother, the younger of the two. He squired for his father.[1]

History

His brother Daemon had a prophetic dream of Aegon and Aemon's deaths, which they laughed at.[2]

He was killed during the Battle of the Redgrass Field by Bloodraven's arrows after he had taken the sword Blackfyre from the hands of his dying father.[1]

Quotes about Aemon

Aegon and Aemon. Wretched witless bullies, just like you. When we were little, they took pleasure in tormenting me and Daemon both.[2]

...I once dreamed of my brothers lying dead. They were twelve and I was only seven, so they laughed at me, and died.[2]

Young Aemon took up Blackfyre when the blade slipped from his dying father’s fingers, so Bloodraven slew him, too, the younger of the twins. Thus perished the black dragon and his sons.[1]
