The Antler Men were a group of rich traders and merchants of King's Landing who plotted betrayal against King Joffrey I and intended to abet the fall of the city to Stannis I. They named themselves after the crowned stag of House Baratheon, apparently not knowing that Stannis had changed his sigil and replaced the crown with a fiery heart surrounding the stag. They armed several hundred men and planned, once fighting with Stannis' forces had begun, to seize the Old Gate and let the enemy into the city. Master armorer Salloreon was a member of the group.[1]

During the Battle of the Blackwater, they had antlers nailed to their heads and were flung over the walls of King's Landing by the three great trebuchets called the Three Whores.[2]

Tyrion eventually finds out that some of them owed considerable sums of money to the crown.[3] Jaime discovers that another of the Antler Men was a cloth merchant who had purchased the position of Chief Gaoler of the Black Cells from Petyr Baelish.[4]
