Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
Ser Balman Byrch attended the funeral of Lord Tywin Lannister with his wife, Falyse.
When his good-sister Lollys Stokeworth delivered her bastard son, Lollys's husband Bronn named the child Tyrion, after Tyrion Lannister. This incensed Queen Cersei to the point of believing Bronn to be a traitor, and so she sent Ser Balman to slay Bronn.[4] Balman, ever chivalrous, challenged Bronn to a duel, believing the former sellsword's lack of experience on horse should ensure his victory. However Bronn used dirty tactics to win the duel, and slew Ser Balman, though not before extracting a confession from him that confirmed he was sent by the Queen.[5]
