Biter is a vicious criminal of King's Landing.

Appearance

He is described as enormous and bald, with soft, doughy flesh. His tongue had been cut and he does not speak, except to hiss. His teeth have been filed into points.[1]

History

Biter was an orphan, in his childhood he was found by Rorge and trained to fight feral with dogs in Flea Bottom.[2]

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

Biter has been once of the prisoners, in the Black Cells, given to Yoren as recruits for the Night's Watch. Yoren considered him so dangerous, that he was kept chained in a wagon and kept separated for the trip for the Wall, along with Jaqen H'ghar and Rorge.[3]

When Yoren's band is attacked at an abandoned keep by raiders led by Ser Amory Lorch, biter and his companions find themselves trapped in the wagon in the middle of a fire, but Arya Stark, who traveled with them, before escaping herself, throws an axe into the wagon so that they could break free and save themselves. [4] They manage to escape and later was taken into Ser Amory's service, eventually arriving at Harrenhal.[5]

At Harrenhal Biter and Rorge reluctantly agree to help's Arya free some northmen prisoners taken by the Brave Companions, at Jaqen H'ghar's requeste, for saving their life. After which they Joined the Brave Companions, staying in the castle. [6]

A Feast for Crows

Biter in the first season of the (TV series)

After Hoat's death, Biter travels with Rorge alongside remnants of the Companions and participates in the sacking of Saltpans.

At the Inn at the Crossroads, after Rorge duels with and is slain by Brienne of Tarth, Biter quickly overpowers Brienne and begins savagely biting her face. He is stopped by Gendry, who drives a spear through the back of his neck, killing him.[7]
