The Burning Knight was a huge brute of a man. He was most likely not an actual knight.[1]

History

During the Storming of the Dragonpit, the Burning Knight slew the dragon Morghul. Encased in heavy armor, he rushed headlong into the dragonflame with spear in hand, thrusting the point into the dragon's eye repeatedly, even as the flames melted the steel and burning his flesh, thus giving him his nickname.[1]
