Ser Bywin Strong was a knight from House Strong and a Lord of Harrenhal, the first from House Strong.
Character
Like his brother, Lucamore, Bywin was a renowned knight.[1]
History
Bywin was granted Harrenhal in 73 AC by King Jaehaerys I Targaryen, after the death of his sister, the widowed Queen Rhaena Targaryen.[1]
At the end of the year, it was discovered that Bywin's brother, Ser Lucamore of the Kingsguard, had disgraced his vows by marrying three times and fathering sixteen children. When matters were brought up to the king, Jaehaerys put Lucamore's first wife and their children in Lord Bywin's charge.[1]
