Contents
Appearance
Cleos has stringy brown hair. He has a thin face with a weak chin like his father.[2]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Due to his Lannister blood, Cleos fights with the Lannisters and is captured along with Jaime Lannister at the Battle of the Whispering Wood.[2]
A Clash of Kings
King Robb Stark sends Cleos to King's Landing with his peace offer.[2] He returns with a counter-offer by Tyrion Lannister. Because some of the men with whom he returns with try to free Ser Jaime Lannister while they are under the peace banner, Cleos is imprisoned again.[3]
A Storm of Swords
Catelyn Stark releases Cleos to accompany Ser Jaime Lannister, together with Brienne of Tarth.[1] Trying to disguise himself, Jaime asks Ser Cleos to shave his head. Cleos is present for the river chase by Ser Robin Ryger, and complains when Brienne insists they cannot stop at the Inn of the Kneeling Man. On the road between Maidenpool and Duskendale,[4] the trio is ambushed by outlaw archers. Cleos is hit by arrows, and his horse spooks and drags him across the ground, killing him. He is not particularly mourned, either by Ser Jaime[5] or his parents. Jaime uses Cleos's sword to fight Brienne before the two are captured by the Brave Companions.
