Ser Daemon Sand, known as the Bastard of Godsgrace, is the bastard son of Ryon Allyrion, the heir of House Allyrion.

History

When Daemon was fourteen he took Arianne Martell's maidenhead. Although Arianne's father, Doran Martell eventually learned this he did not do anything.[2] He asked for Arianne's hand and was refused.[3] He later squired for Oberyn Martell.[4]

Recent Events

A Storm of Swords

Daemon, who had at some point become a knight, was part of the nobles and knights that accompanied Oberyn Martell to King's Landing to take his place on the Small Council as had been negotiated by Oberyn's brother.[5] When Oberyn championed Tyrion's cause, Ser Daemon served as his squire.[6]

A Feast for Crows

After Oberyn's death at the hands of Ser Gregor Clegane, Daemon returned to Dorne and was swiftly imprisoned by Doran Martell.[7]
