Princess Daeryssa is a character in a song. According to the song, she was once saved by Serwyn of the Mirror Shield from giants.[1]
Behind the Scenes
Given her name, it is possible George R. R. Martin had intended for Daeryssa to be a Targaryen princess when he first introduced Serwyn as a member of the kingsguard in A Game of Thrones. Serwyn was later retconned as a legendary hero from the Age of Heroes and Daeryssa was never mentioned again.
