Dale Seaworth is the eldest son of Ser Davos Seaworth. He is the captain of the Wraith.[1]
Appearance
Dale has a square plain face with brown eyes and thin brown flyaway hair.[2] He had a beard, which he was proud of.[2]
History
Dale was married. He and his wife had been praying for a child.[3]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Dale is present with his father and brothers when Melisandre burns the sept on Dragonstone. He is sent by Stannis Baratheon past Cape Wrath and the Broken Arm, all along the coast of Dorne as far as the Arbor to distribute Stannis's claim concerning the legitimacy of Cersei Lannister's children with King Robert I.[1]
Dale fights at the Battle of the Blackwater with his ship, the Wraith.[citation needed] Dale dies when his ship is destroyed and sinks during the battle.[citation needed]
