History
Drazenko was one of the envoys from Lys to the court of the Princess of Dorne, Aliandra Martell, at Sunspear. Drazenko, alongside his brother Lysandro, were seen as the architects of the alliance between Dorne and the Triarchy,[2] it is therefore likely Drazenko was already part of Sunspear's court under Prince Qoren Martell, Aliandra's father.
On Maiden's Day of 133 AC, Drazenko approached Lord Alyn Velaryon during the feast organized to celebrate the Maiden. He informed Alyn that Prince Viserys Targaryen, believed dead ever since the Battle of the Gullet, was in fact alive and with Drazenko's brother in Lys. Lord Alyn, who was returning to King's Landing after his expedition to the westerlands to deal with the threat of Lord Dalton Greyjoy's ironborn, changed his plans and sailed towards the Free City the very next day.[4]
At some point, he married Aliandra Martell, and became the Prince Consort of Dorne. Aliandra even conferred him the title of "Lord of the Stepstones". This marriage and the return of Prince Viserys to King's Landing, marked the apex of House Rogare's power in Westeros.[2]
He and his brother died within a day of one another in 135 AC, beginning the decline of the Rogare family in both Lys and the Seven Kingdoms.[1][2] Drazenko died first choking upon a piece of bacon and Lysandro drowned when his barge sank. Their deaths were widely believed at the time to have been the act of hired Faceless Men.[2]
Family
Drazenko was the brother of Lysandro Rogare and uncle to his children, which included his heir, Lysaro, and his youngest daughter, Larra, who married Prince Viserys Targaryen before he ascended to the Iron Throne.[4][5]
