Edwyn Frey is the eldest son of Ser Ryman Frey, grandson to Ser Stevron Frey and great-grandson of Lord Walder Frey. He stands to inherit the Twins, although the long lifespan of the members of his family and the pretensions of his dangerous brother Black Walder pose a threat to his birthright.

Appearance and Personality

Edwyn is a pale, slender man, with a pinched nose and lank dark hair.[1] His attitude is usually cold. According to others he is full of hate.[2]

Edwyn has always been at odds with his brother, Black Walder, and considers him a threat due to his position as next in the line of succession. Edwyn is described as not being a man of the sword, which could explain the lack of mentions of him in Robb's army during the campaign in the Westerlands. He is, however, part of the Frey army lead by his father that besieges Riverrun.
