The finger dance is a game played by the Ironborn of the Iron Islands. It is played between at least two people and consists of spinning short-hafted axes at each other. One must catch the axe or leap over it without missing a step. It is called the finger dance because the dance usually ended when one of the dancers lost a finger, or more.[1]
