Ginger Jack is a member of the Windblown.[1] He lost half his tongue when he accidentally bit it off during his first battle. He is listed as Ginjer Jack in the Appendix of A Dance with Dragons.
Appearance
Much of Jack's face is hidden behind his bristly ginger beard.
Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
Ginger Jack was part of the Siege of Astapor. He was later sent by the Tattered Prince along with the other Westeros Windblown to go over to Daenerys Targaryen.[2]
