Lord Horton Redfort is Lord of Redfort and head of House Redfort. He has been married three times.[1] He has four sons: Ser Jasper, Ser Creighton, Ser Jon and Ser Mychel.

Appearance

Horton is a short, old man with a well-kept beard and mild eyes.[2]

Recent Events

A Storm of Swords

Lord Horton is referred to as a "dangerous man" and a possible suitor for Lady Lysa Tully.[3]

A Feast for Crows

Horton is one of the lords who joins with Lord Yohn Royce to try and depose Littlefinger.[4] When the Lords Declarant come to parley with Littlefinger, Horton is too old to make the climb so he ascends to the Eyrie in the basket.[2] He forces his youngest son, Mychel Redfort, to marry Ysilla Royce, the daughter of Yohn Royce.[5]

A Dance with Dragons

Lord Roose Bolton mentions that his son Domeric served as a squire for Lord Redfort for three years before returning to the Dreadfort. Horton apparently had a high opinion of Domeric, thinking the lad had the making of a tournament champion. Domeric had enjoyed the company of Horton's sons and came to regard them with brotherly affection.[6]
