House Arryn of Gulltown is a small cadet branch of House Arryn located in the city of Gulltown. They chose to marry merchants in Gulltown, making them richer than most of their cousins. However they are considered uncouth, and so they are not discussed by the rest of the family.[1]

History

House Arryn of Gulltown split from the lordly branch in the reign of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen, going into trade and becoming rich. After the death of Lady Jeyne Arryn of the lordly branch, Isembard Arryn of the Gulltown Arryns attempted to claim the Eyrie.[2]
