House Brax of Hornvale is a noble house from the Westerlands, among the chief bannermen of House Lannister. Their seat is Hornvale.
Their shield depicts a purple unicorn on silver.[1][2] Their motto has not been revealed yet.

History
Lord Andros Brax once came to Riverrun attempting to arrange the marriage of his heirs to Catelyn or Lysa of House Tully, the overlords of the Riverlands.
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Among the gathered knights at the Tourney of the Hand is one with the arms of House Brax. During the War of the Five Kings, House Brax answers the call of Lord Tywin Lannister. Ser Flement Brax commands the outriders that find Tyrion Lannister and his mountain clans descending from the Mountains of the Moon. Flement rides in the right flank during the Battle of the Green Fork.
Lord Andros Brax and his bannermen are in Jaime Lannister's host; he later commands the western camp during the siege of Riverrun. Ser Tytos Brax is captured in the Battle of the Whispering Wood. While crossing the river in an attempt to defend the other camps, Lord Andros drowns during the Battle of the Camps after his raft overturns and the weight of his armor takes him. Tytos becomes Lord of Hornvale after the death of his father, but spends the war in captivity in an unknown keep.
A Clash of Kings
Ser Rupert Brax is slain at the Battle of Oxcross. The Brax colors are seen by Arya Stark within Tywin Lannister's army when it leaves Harrenhal. Ser Robert Brax dies at the Battle of the Fords. His brother, Ser Flement, also tries to cross the fords, to no avail.
A Storm of Swords
Flement is one of the nobles that accompany Tyrion Lannister to welcome Prince Oberyn Martell at King's Landing. Flement is called as a witness for the prosecution in the trial of Tyrion for the death of King Joffrey Baratheon. He tells of how he heard Tyrion threaten the king.
A Feast for Crows
Lord Tytos Brax comes to King's Landing to escort Tywin Lannister's corpse to the Westerlands. Ser Flement Brax accompanies Jaime Lannister through the Riverlands to finish the Siege of Riverrun, commanding a company of two hundred heavy horse.
