At the beginning of the Dance of the Dragons, Lord Buckler was executed in King's Landing for refusing to renounce his oaths to Rhaenyra Targaryen.[4] Lady Buckler and her two daughters drowned when their ship sank in the Blackwater prior to the Maiden's Day Cattle Show.[5]
