House Frey of Riverrun is a new noble house in the Riverlands. It was created when House Tully was relieved of its lands and titles for rebellion against the Iron Throne. The lands were then bestowed on Ser Emmon Frey, a younger son of House Frey.[1]

Though Emmon Frey believed lordship over Riverrun would make him Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, this title was bestowed upon Petyr Baelish, newly created Lord of Harrenhal.
