House Haigh is a noble house from the riverlands. Their arms are a black pitchfork on a golden bar sinister on russet.[1][2] Their words have not appeared in the books. The Haighs are presumably a house of landed knights, as Ser Leslyn Haigh is a vassal of House Frey.[3]

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

Ser Harys Haigh is with Lord Roose Bolton's army at Harrenhal.[4]

A Storm of Swords

Meera Reed tells Bran Stark that during the tourney at Harrenhal, a squire serving a member of House Haigh accosted a crannogman. The knight of House Haigh was later defeated in the tourney by the Knight of the Laughing Tree and told to teach his squire honor.[2]

While staying the night at the Twins before her brother Edmure's wedding, Catelyn Stark encounters Leslyn, Harys, and Donnel Haigh drinking in the great hall along with Lame Lothar Frey, Ser Raymund Frey, Lord Lucias Vypren, Ser Damon Vypren, and Ser Hosteen Frey.[5]

Sandor Clegane and Arya Stark encounter Donnel when they are trying to sneak into the Twins; Sandor mentions he has beaten Donnel in many melees, once almost killing him.[6]

During the Red Wedding, Leslyn loses half an ear while trying to capture Greatjon Umber. Harys fights a Vance with the aid of Black Walder Frey.

A Feast for Crows

Ser Harys and Ser Donnel accompany their cousin Ser Arwood Frey to respond to the raid on Saltpans.[7] The banners of House Haigh are spotted by Ser Jaime Lannister when he crosses to the Frey camp during the siege of Riverrun.[3]
