The known Meadows during the timespan of the events described on A Song of Ice and Fire are:
- Lord Elwood Meadows, the Lord of Grassy Vale. He is young.
With unspecified familiar relationship with the lord of the house there is also:
- Lysa Meadows. Married to Ser Olymer Tyrell. They have three children.

- Lord Meadows was Ser Cortnay Penrose's second-in-command at Storm's End.
- Elwood Meadows is a cousin of the Fossoways.
- After the death of Ser Cortnay and the surrender of Storm's End to Stannis, Lord Elwood was made the new castellan of Storm's End.
- The banners of House Meadows were possibly among those that Jon Snow spotted during the attack on the wildling camp by Stannis.
- Stannis named Ser Gilbert Farring as the new castellan of Storm's End and placed Lord Elwood as his second in command.
