House Rosby of Rosby rules at this small town just north of King's Landing.[1] The Rosbys are not known for their robustness, tending to be sickly persons.[2]
Their blazon consists into three red chevronels on ermine.[3][4] Their motto is not mentioned in the books.

- Lord {Gyles Rosby}, Lord of Rosby. A sickly old man who coughs frequently.
With unknown familiar relationship with the main branch, other Rosbys include:
- Lady {Bethany Rosby}. Deceased seventh wive of Lord Walder Frey. Mother to five Freys including Perwyn, Olyvar and Roslin Frey.

Maester Melwys, counselor, healer, and tutor. A bastard son of Lord Walder Frey.

- Lord Gyles was among those offered as possible matches by Prince Doran Martell to his daughter Arianne.
- Gyles Rosby is frequently seen in the court of King's Landing, always coughing.
- Gyles Rosby conspired with Cersei Lannister to take Prince Tommen out of the city and keep him safe at Rosby disguised as a page.
- Tyrion Lannister considered Gyles Rosby "too sickly to run and too craven to fight".
- Lord Gyles was captured by Tyrion's men, along with Tommen and his guard. He was released shortly afterwards.
- Lord Gyles was among the gathered nobility to welcome the Dornish party, headed by Prince Oberyn Martell, to King's Landing.
- Lord Gyles testified at Tyrion's trial, stating that he had seen the Imp filling Joffrey I's wedding chalice.
- Lord Gyles was named Master of Coin (under the title of lord treasurer) by Queen Cersei.
- Lord Gyles promised Queen Cersei that he would have a statue made of the deceased Lord Tywin Lannister to be placed by the Lion Gate in King's Landing.
- Lord Gyles attended the wedding of Tommen I and Margaery Tyrell.
- The ward of Lord Gyles refused Lady Falyse Stokeworth and her husband Ser Balman Byrch shelter at Rosby when they were on their way to King's Landing.
- Lord Gyles's ward has a claim on Rosby. However according to Falyse Stokeworth, should Lord Gyles die, Rosby should come to Stokeworth, since Lady Tanda was an aunt to Lord Gyles's second wife and is a third cousin herself.
- Lord Gyles died at King's Landing from his cough. He had no immediate heir, but his ward, who is not of his blood has a claim on Rosby.
- When the issue of succession at Rosby was raised at the Small Council, it was stated there were six claimants before the issue was tabled.
