A Song of Ice and Fire

  • When Catelyn Tully reaches the Bloody Gate with Tyrion Lannister, customarily asks Ser Donnel permission to enter the Vale.
  • Lady Anya was at the Eyrie during Tyrion's trial with both her sons, and predicted an easy victory for Ser Vardis Egen over Bronn.
  • Anya's heir Ser Morton had been a suitor to Lady Lysa after Jon Arryn's death.
  • When discussing Robb's succession, Catelyn recalls that Eddard Stark's grandfather had a sister who married a younger son of Lord Raymar Royce and had three daughters, one of whom married a Waynwood.[3]
  • The Waynwood gave support to Yohn Royce when pressuring Lady Lysa to enter to the War of the Five Kings on the behalf of Robb Stark.
  • Lady Anya Waynwood was one of the Lords Declarant who tried to depose Littlefinger
  • When in the Eyrie with the other Lords Declarant, she is described as having greying hair, crow's feet around her eyes and loose skin beneath her chin, but with a distinct air of nobility. She wars a mantle with her arms.
  • Petyr Baelish doubts about being able to turn Lady Anya to his side, but considers her too old to pose a threat.
  • To everyone's astonishment, Lady Anya attended the wedding of Lyonel Corbray that had been orchestrated by Littlefinger.
  • In exchange to the purchase of her debts, Lady Anya agrees to betroth her ward Harry the Heir to Littlefinger's bastard daughter and risk Lord Royce's wrath.
  • Ser Donnel became Knight of the Gate after Ser Brynden Tully left the post vacant.
