Jory Cassel is a member of House Cassel, serving as captain of the household guard at Winterfell for House Stark.[2] In the television adaptation Game of Thrones he is played by Jamie Sives.[3]

History

Jory is the son of Martyn Cassel, who died fighting alongside Eddard Stark at the Tower of Joy, and is the nephew of Ser Rodrik Cassel, master-at-arms of Winterfell. Jory continued in his family's path serving the Starks loyally; he is Lord Eddard's captain of guard, serving more than eight years at this post.[4]

He attended the wedding of Eddard and Catelyn Tully. During the bedding ceremony, he ripped her gown in haste.[5]
