Ser Maynard Plumm was a member of House Plumm during the reign of Aerys I. He was tall, thin with long straight, blonde hair and stoop shoulders. He claimed to be distantly related to Lord Viserys Plumm.[1]

The Mystery Knight

Ser Maynard was among the hedge knights encamped by the lake at Whitewalls. He attended the wedding of Lord Ambrose Butterwell and his new wife, but refused to take part in the tourney. After Ser Duncan the Tall lost in the lists, Ser Maynard tried to persuade him to leave, but Ser Duncan refused. When Ser Duncan was cornered by Lord Alyn Cockshaw, Ser Maynard watched until Lord Alyn had fallen into the well, then proceeded to help the injured Ser Duncan and informed him of the whereabouts of his missing squire. During the Second Blackfyre Rebellion his presence was missed.[1]

He claimed that Bloodraven was well aware of the would-be rebellion and was proven right.[1]
