Ollo Lophand is a ranger of the Night's Watch.

History

Ollo is from Tyrosh. He lost a hand after being caught for thievery and was sent to the Wall after being found abed with a knight's wife.[1] He wraps the stump of his missing hand in leather.[2] Chett thinks the Tyroshi spoken by Ollo is a wet, girly tongue.[1]

Recent Events

A Storm of Swords

Ollo is part of the Great Ranging, the force that left Castle Black in search of the wildlings. He is one of the conspirators that intends to kill Lord Commander Jeor Mormont.[1] If the conspiracy is successful, he plans to return to Tyrosh.

Ollo survives the Battle of the Fist of the First Men and is among the men who makes it back to Craster's Keep. Ollo is among those brothers that mutiny at Craster's Keep, mortally wounding Lord Commander Mormont in the process.[3]

A Feast for Crows

Ollo remains at Craster's Keep after the betrayal, along with a few other former members of the Night's Watch.[4]

A Dance with Dragons

Whilst escorting Bran Stark beyond the Wall, Coldhands tracks the Night's Watch traitors and kills them. Ollo's corpse, the largest of them, is found with its throat slit in the snow by Summer, who eats part of the meat.[2]
