Ser Pate, better known as Ser Pate of the Blue Fork, also known as Ser Pate of Sevenstreams, was a hedge knight from the Riverlands.

History
Ser Pate was a knight of humble beginnings. He was married to Amerei Frey, the eldest daughter of Merrett Frey, after she had been caught in the stables of the Twins having sex with three grooms at the same time.[2] Pate's cousin, Tom of Sevenstreams, sang at his wedding to Amerei.[2]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Pate dies whilst fighting for Robb Stark.[3] Before he left, he promised his wife that he was going to kill Ser Gregor Clegane. In the end, it was Clegane who killed Pate.[4]
A Storm of Swords
Lord Walder Frey mentions how Ser Pate was killed by Ser Gregor Clegane.[4]
A Feast for Crows
When Jaime Lannister is visiting Castle Darry, Lady Amerei Frey tells him about her first husband, Ser Pate of the Blue Fork, and how he had sworn to kill Gregor Clegane.[3]
