Ronald Storm is the bastard son of Ser Ronnet Connington, the Knight of Griffin's Roost. He is most likely named for his grandfather, Ronald Connington. He resides in Griffin's Roost.[2]

Ronald is made a captive when Griffin's Roost is taken by Jon Connington and the Golden Company, along with Ronnet Connington's younger siblings, Raymund and Alynne.
