Ronel is nearby when Catelyn Stark informs her son, Robb, of the alliance negotiated with Lord Walder Frey.[2]

Ronel is one of the four Freys captured at the battle on the Green Fork.[1] Arya Stark observes four Freys being ransomed at Harrenhal.[3] Ronel is later among the Freys under the command of Lord Roose Bolton at Harrenhal.[4]
