The Rosby road is a road in the Crownlands running from the Iron Gate at King's Landing through Rosby to Duskendale.[1] After Rosby, the road to Duskendale passes apple orchards and fields of barley and becomes rutted.[1]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
As Hand of the King, Tyrion Lannister has Jacelyn Bywater lay a trap on the Rosby road for Lord Gyles Rosby and his men-at-arms. Jacelyn takes Prince Tommen Baratheon into Tyrion's protection at Rosby, rather than Queen Cersei Lannister's, and replaces the Rosby garrison with fifty of his best men.[2]
A Feast for Crows
Brienne of Tarth takes the Rosby road toward Duskendale when she begins her search for Sansa Stark.[1]
Queen Margaery Tyrell sometimes rides along the Rosby road to hunt for shells and eat near Blackwater Bay.[3]
