Ser Stevron Frey is Lord Walder Frey's first born son, and heir apparent to the Twins.

Appearance and Character

Like his father Ser Stevron resembles a weasel. He has grey eyes.[2] A man in his sixties, Stevron's appearance showes his age. Walder has groomed him for lordship of the house, though Walder often jokes that Stevron has been waiting for him to die for forty years. Through his father, Stevron has learned to place great importance on the family. Stevron, unlike his father is amiable and reasonable.

Recent Events

A Game of Thrones

Ser Stevron is sent to parley with the Northern army when they arrived beneath the walls of the Twins.[3] When House Frey allies with Robb Stark, Stevron accompanies its forces and personally leads the Frey soldiers into battle.[4]

A Clash of Kings

Ser Stevron was wounded at the Battle of Oxcross. No one thought the wound was serious but three days later he was found dead in his tent.[5] King Robb often recalled how he died bravely serving him.

A Storm of Swords

Robb Stark told his mother Catelyn on his return to Riverrun that if Ser Stevron was alive he felt he could have made amends with the Freys over the broken marriage contract there and then. But the other Freys (bar Olyvar Frey) were unreasonable.
